A Good Day To Die – Dennis Banks/AIM

Just saw 'A Good Day To Die' film documentary about Dennis Banks and his early start with AIM (American Indian Movement) to the final days when he was on the run from the law. Have to admit, this is all information I'm familiar with but seeing Dennis Banks give his personal accounts on his fellow AIM members and what was actually going through their minds during the events, such as the taking of the BIA Building in DC and the stand-off at Wounded Knee in 1973, was eye opening.

Wouldn't have seen this anytime soon if it weren't for the Balinale International Film Festival, some really great films every year from independent and already established directors. Waiting patiently for Friday's premiere of the Banksy doc 'Exit Through The Gift Shop' ...
