Insted We Smile

If you've been to Nusa Dua in the past year or so, you've noticed the big ole' shipwreck off in the distance... Luke Stedman and gang decided to turn it into a surf playground and shot a video to promote his new t-shirt line, Insted We Smile... Lovin' the big ole smiley face on the tanker, you KNOW this was tough to pull off, but through the magic of editing it came out looking pretty damn cool. Can't wait to see more...

Phenomenon known as "reef draining", can see the rest of the sequence --->here<---

Photographer Peter "Joli" Wilson...
"I'd watched the horizon angle change a few times this day and had been shooting with a telephoto lens trying to capture the incredible action that was going down in front of me. As this wave started to drain off the reef I grabbed another camera with a wide angle lens attached. I was able to shoot off six frames as the wave sucked water from it's base as through someone had pulled the plug."

Pretty sick slow motion shot view from BBC of surfer Dylan Longbottom in Bali, apparently this is the first slow motion shot of its kind ever recorded.
